Registration will take place in the Middle School Commons. Proceed there first to register, sign in for clock hours, gather registration materials and grab coffee and breakfast.
Parking will be limited. Please bus or carpool. We are hoping for people to arrive three to a car. Please plan to gather and drive together.

Shuttle From Conference Hotel
Marriott Tacoma Downtown: 1538 Commerce St, Tacoma, WA 98402
A shuttle will depart at 7:45am from the hotel. It will be parked in front of the main door. No need to sign up in advance, but please be there promptly for an on-time departure.
Covid Considerations
We are asking everyone to test within 24 hours of arriving at the conference. Masks will be optional and we will have some available at registration. If you are not feeling well, stay home and contact Vivian Hoang, NWAIS registrar at vhoang@nwais.org to be moved to the virtual attendance.

Food and Drink
Please bring along a water bottle. Refill stations are marked on the maps. Lunch will be served in three locations and will be a simple box lunch. Please go to the location on your name tag.
Breakout Sessions Breakout sessions are open to all attendees on a space-available basis. It would be a good idea to come with a first and second choice in mind. Book Sales We will not have a book seller on-site for the conference. There will be time for a book signing with Scott Barry Kaufman, Tish Jennings and Kimberlee Williams from 10:00-10:30am. We will have book plates available that you can have signed and adhere to a book that you purchase later, or you can purchase books for signature in advance. Here is a Book List to direct you to their publications. Mother’s Spaces You can sign up for a space to pump here. These spaces will be private, have locking doors and nearby access to a sink. Clock Hours & STARS – 5 Hours Available – NEW PROCESS, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY To remain in compliance with OSPI regulations, attendees are required to register in advance for Clock hours and STARS credits. Clock Hours - To receive clock hours, you must sign up before the program begins. Please contact Vivian Hoang (vhoang@nwais.org), NWAIS Registrar to let us know that you would like to receive them.
- You must physically sign into the conference. There will be a clock hours table in the Middle School Commons. This must be completed before you leave the conference.
STARS Credits - To receive STARS you must sign up before the program begins. Please contact Vivian Hoang (vhoang@nwais.org), NWAIS Registrar to let us know that you would like to receive them.
- You must fill out this form by October 17 at 5:00pm PT receive STARS credits
There is no cost for professional credits.
Certificate of Attendance If you maintain a credential through another agency, we would be happy to provide you with a certificate of attendance. Please sign up for a certificate of attendance at the Clock Hours station. The certificate will be mailed to your school after the conference. Support for Those with Mobility Limitations Charles Wright Academy is a large campus and sessions are spread throughout. If you might need an extra hand moving around campus, please email Jami Sheets. We will be best able to serve you if we have an understanding of your needs prior to the conference.
