The Attic is a full-time, Preschool through 12th grade independent school offering a distinctive approach to teaching and learning—pairing innovation with a strong foundation in academics and social emotional development.
Our dynamic and personalized program focuses on hands-on learning through intrinsic motivation encouraging collaboration, play, autonomy, and civil discourse—while remaining deeply rooted in core academic subjects like math, reading, writing, science, and the social sciences. We meet each child where they are, challenging them to think critically, engage in deep discovery, and take ownership of their learning.

Attic graduates leave prepared to pursue their chosen paths with confidence, whether that includes college, gap year experiences, or entering the workforce. Our alumni have been admitted to over 120 universities in the US, Canada, and Europe, and are awarded generous merit scholarships each year. There is no limit to what our learners can do with an Attic education.
