The Bush School is the oldest independent school in the Seattle area offering a K-12 education on a single campus. Our educational philosophy centers on the belief that students learn most effectively through active engagement with ideas.

Our programs offer unique, stimulating educational experiences, characterized by involved, active learning. The Upper School curriculum includes advanced science, math, and writing programs, foreign languages, technology, the arts, and challenging electives.Students learn how to learn, and are eager to continue learning -- confidence, curiosity, and competence will become a part of who they are. Our program prepares students for college, and, more importantly, for life.

Located in Seattle's quiet Madison Valley neighborhood, we are housed in ten buildings on nine acres. We provide a beautiful, natural environment in which students not only learn, but also excel. More than an assemblage of buildings, our campus is a reflection of our shared values. There are open spaces for gathering and engaging, with quiet corners for contemplation and study. The Bush School invites you to experience education.
