The French International School of Oregon is an independent coeducational school in the West Hills of Portland, Oregon. It operates as: 1) The French International Lower School, preschool through grade 5 (total French immersion program), and 2) The Gilkey International Middle School, grades 6 through 8.
The goal of FAIS is to employ the rich resources of an internationally recognized curriculum in order to help each student realize his or her full potential. FAIS students graduate with an appreciation of cultural differences and the life-long skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly global society.
