At Gig Harbor Academy we empower children through joyful discovery. Gig Harbor Academy puts children at the center of learning and inquiry – their questions and ideas form the heart of what fosters individuality and independence in every child. We believe children are motivated to learn more enthusiastically and deeply when their own questions drive their learning. Gig Harbor Academy’s campus encourages experiential learning by offering outdoor classes, a fitness trail, athletic field, archeological dig site and seven acres of certified wetlands with trails for research and enjoyment. We also offer a comprehensive Specialist Program which includes art, physical education, Spanish, technology and music, as well as many after-school enrichment programs and summer camps.
