Holy Names Academy is a Catholic, college preparatory school for girls in grades 9-12 that serves young women of diverse ethnic, economic and religious backgrounds. Founded in 1880 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, the Academy is a four-time winner of the U.S. Department of Education's Blue Ribbon Award. The Academy's distinctive features include a comprehensive Advanced Placement program, extensive co-curricular and leadership opportunities, and participation in AAA Metro League athletics.
