NWAIS Fall Educators Conference Is Now Hybrid!

Now Offering In-Person and Virtual Attendance

Registration for the virtual conference will offer individuals and member schools live streaming and asynchronous options.  Registrants will have access to seven of the conference's most anticipated sessions in real time as well as recordings for two weeks following the conference.  Virtual attendees will also be invited to a special zoom Q&A session the following week with Sarah Ward.

Speaker Registration Rates and Discounts

 

There is a maximum of three presenters per breakout session. In recognition of their contribution to the day, each selected presenter, discussion and affinity leader will receive a 25% discount on registration. Speakers will be registered automatically.

 

 

Registering a Large Group? 

If you are a part of a member schools that registering a large group, we would be happy to support the process. To complete registrations for your faculty we need some information about each of the people attending. You can get us that information by downloading and filling out the group registration spreadsheet and emailing it to NWAIS Registrar, Vivian Hoang at vhoang@nwais.org

Cancellation Policy 

Substitutions may be made any time prior to the conference. Written cancellations received by October 3, 2022 are eligible for a refund after a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after October 3, 2022 are ineligible for any refund. 

 

Attendees Will Be Eligible For 5 Clock Hours And / Or STARS Credits 

To remain in compliance with OSPI regulations, attendees are required to register in advance for Clock hours and STARS credits. There is no cost for professional credits. The original clock hours form or your STARS certificate will be mailed back to you for your records. If you are credentialed outside of Washington and need to petition another agency for credits or you would like a certificate for your files, NWAIS is happy to provide one upon request at no charge.

 

NWAIS May Help Cover Travel Costs

The NWAIS travel reimbursement policy is designed to reimburse candidate and accredited member schools for some travel costs. This policy applies to a school’s total travel expenses (not the cost of rooms and meals), no matter how many people the school sends to the workshop. If your school spends more than $150 dollars on travel for this event and is traveling a distance greater than 250 miles you will be reimbursed a percentage of your expenses.
